In a few weeks, we are helping out on a show at Williamsburg's Brooklyn Bowl organized by the folks at Hype Machine. A number of sites are involved, actually --Gorilla Vs. Bear, I Guess I’m Floating, Consequence of Sound, and Awesome Tapes From Africa amongst them, each picking an artist to round out the bill. Our selection is the most excellent, recently name-changed band DIIV (f/k/a Dive), a band which understands British indie guitars, German indie rhythms, and how to course correct in order to enhance Google-ability (and no longer piss off older bands also called Dive). If you come, you'll also see Killer Mike, Beat Culture, High Highs, and interstitial DJ sets from Awesome Tapes himself.
