When people talk about Divine Fits, they generally don't complain that the band lacks for A-list indie-frontman star power -- for most bands, Britt Daniel and Dan Boeckner would be able to hold it down in that regard. But I don't care if you're CSNY, the Traveling Wilburys, or Twilight -- when you're in Atlanta and Deerhunter/Atlas Sound mainman Bradford Cox is hanging around, there's no reason not to shove a mic in the guy's face and rip through a version of the Ramones' "53rd and 3rd." Indeed, Cox joined Divine Fits on stage for precisely that purpose on 10/29 at ATL's Terminal West -- dude is eerily reminiscent of Joey Ramone. And, for that matter, Boeckner could pass for pretty much any other Ramone. Check out the fan-filmed video of this more-stars-than-the-sky coupling below.
