For a new 12" single, Dirty Projectors have lined up a pretty great cast of producers to remix the Swing Lo Magellan track "The Socialites." AlunaGeorge and FaltyDL have both contributed remixes, as has Hot Chip co-leader Joe Goddard. Goddard's take on the track is a fluid, rippling thing, exactly what you might hope from a Dirty Projectors/Hot Chip co-presentation, and it gives me flashbacks to Amber Coffman's vocal on Major Lazer's "Get Free."
