Scottish indie-pop trailblazers the Pastels never officially broke up, and they've occasionally gotten together to make music in recent years, but they haven't released a new studio album since Illumination in 1997. That changes soon, as the band's new LP Slow Summits will arrive soon. And below, listen to a song from it, a sharp and peppy horn-laced number called "Check My Heart."
