Last night, London's great Savages celebrated the release of their album Silence Yourself, easily the year's best debut LP thus far, by playing an in-the-round show at the legendary London dance-music superclub Ministry Of Sound. And for the occasion, they violated their own no-cameras policy, letting the Creators Project livestream the entire show. Today, we can watch the whole replay back again, and it's shot in dark, disorienting, jagged close-ups, which is the way to shoot a Savages show. Savages are an absolutely ferocious live band, and there's obviously no substitute for actually being there, but this filmed version of their show is a whole hell of a lot better than anything anyone could make on a camera-phone. Watch the whole show below.
