It had been a while since any of us heard from Magik Markers, and with the debut release of MM-frontwoman Elisa Ambrogio's project 200 Years, some might have been getting worried when/if there would be anymore material. Thankfully that all changes with the release of Surrender To Fantasy, their first studio album in four years. The first track up, "Bonfire," is a frenetic noise-rock party with a video to match. Here the band plays in a field around a massive bonfire while people headbang and chug beers. Dissonant as hell with an almost candy coated catchiness, this is classic Magik Markers.
