"A Keepsake" is the second single we've heard off the eclectically named Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate)'s forthcoming album, You Will Eventually Be Forgotten, their first since 2009. Michigan couple Keith and Cathy Latinen premiered their first new song earlier this month, and "A Keepsake" is a fitting follow-up to the slow wail that was "If It's Bad News, It Can Wait." It's the same delicate nostalgia delivered cleanly and sincerely, with a guest appearance from Braid frontman Bob Nanna. If these songs are any indication, the new album will be a sad symphony -- but a neatly sad one. Listen to "A Keepsake" below.

You Will Eventually Be Forgotten is out 8/19 on Topshelf/Count Your Lucky Stars. Ribbon, a graphic novel based on the album, will accompany the release via illustrator Ben Sears.
