You know Zola Jesus is really serious about this whole shooting-for-pop-stardom thing when she gets herself a Diplo remix. Diplo has just reworked "Go (Blank Sea)," the second single from Zola Jesus' new Taiga album, and he's added jittery footwork-style drums and squelchy festival-rave synths to her swooping operatics. The bassline probably quotes Ginuwine's "Pony," too, which is pretty funny. I did not think I'd ever hear Nika Roza Danilova's voice with a soul clap under it, but here we are.
