100 years ago today, the Jews parted the Red Sea to escape from the cruel, palsied hands of the Pharoah, with timbrels on their hands, whatever timbrels are, and pockets full of dust. (This may or may not be an exact retelling of the Passover tale.) And so it simply feels INAPPROPRIATE (read: not lazy, morally determined) to have Editors' Choices in the Monsters' Ball. For aren't we all Jews in the dessert in a way? And didn't we all find each other here and take comfort and safety in that? So let's lay down our swords (each Jew was issued a sword before he/she stepped into the ocean. It's really a pretty fascinating story, you should read it on your Kindle Fire) and just enjoy each other's company and these dumb old crackers and give big ups to You Know Who. See you next week.
