The week that they released their astonishing RTJ2 album, Run The Jewels gave an intense, triumphant performance of "Early" on Letterman. And now that the Late Show has a new host, they returned to that stage to do whatever they could to top that last performance. They might've pulled it off. TV On The Radio, along with a full string section, stood in as RTJ's backing band, creating this immense wall of decaying beauty on "Angel Duster" and generally putting an already-huge song over the top. It was quite a spectacle, and it's very cool to see all these guys finding ways to push themselves and do amazing things on such a big stage. The fact that Stephen Colbert can host a performance like this so soon into his run says good things. Watch the performance below.
