Eagles Of Death Metal – “Silverlake”

In a couple of weeks, Eagles Of Death Metal, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme's duo with his equally grizzled buddy Jesse Hughes, will return with the choogling novelty-rock album Zipper Down. We've posted their songs "Complexity" and "Got A Woman," and now, by way of a big Rolling Stone interview, they've shared a third number called "Silverlake." The song is a straight-ahead riffer that, as you can probably guess from the title, makes fun of the cool-kid class in Los Angeles. I've got a feeling that the song will be perversely popular in Silverlake. Listen to it below.
