Chief Keef continues to be the center of controversy, but this time, it's not really about him. Instead, Keef's label FilmOn, founded by Greek billionaire Alki David, is suing Glo Gang manager Idris "Peeda Pan" Abdul Wahid and producers Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, Sonny Digital, and DJ Holiday to the tune of $1 million for their work on Keef's recent mixtapes Finally Rollin 2 and Nobody 2, which were apparently released without authorization from the label, thus constituting a breach of contract. According to documents obtained by HipHopsRevival, the complaints listed against them include inducing breach of contract, intentional interference with contractual relations, civil conspiracy, and conversion.
"FilmOn Music is not suing Keef because we do not believe in suing talent," Alki David said in a statement to Billboard. "We believe Keef has once again mislead by his management. We have filed a lawsuit against his management company plus all the vendors and producers who have knowingly interfered with his 360 Recording Contract with FilmOn Music."
Keef's record contract with FilmOn was suspended last month due to David's dispute with Keef's management.
