Vic Mensa Arrested For Gun Possession Due To Improper Permit

Vic Mensa can't catch a break in Beverly Hills. Last year, the BHPD detained the Chicago rapper over suspicion of theft, an incident that resulted in Mensa accusing the police of racist perceptions of black men as criminals. Now, TMZ reports that Mensa was pulled over this past week for running a stop sign with tinted windows before being arrested on a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon after he was found with a gun in his car. Mensa reportedly showed the officers a concealed carry permit issued by a different state, which did not apply in California. He spent the night in jail before being released on $35,000 bail.
