It took five years, but indie rock life-changers the Shins finally got around to releasing the follow-up to 2012's Port Of Morrow. The new album is called Heartworms, and it came out on Friday. Last night, James Mercer and his associates were the musical guests on Stephen Colbert's Late Show, where they chugged amiably through the power-pop single "Name For You." Colbert also gave Mercer a moment to talk about a contest the band is holding; you can win the Shins' original tour van if you cover one of the songs on their new album in a way that they like.
