Marc Maron has been getting more and more musicians to appear on his long-running interview podcast WTF, and on today's episode, Mount Eerie's Phil Elverum and Miracle Legion's Mark Mulcahy both dropped by his garage to talk. Elverum discusses growing up listening to grunge (and MC Hammer) in Anacortes, Washington before moving onto the recent death of his wife, which inspired his devastating and beautiful recent album A Crow Looked At Me, one of the best of the year so far. He also played an acoustic live version of the LP cut "Forest Fire." You can listen here starting at around 7:45; it's a fascinating conversation between two thoughtful people that is absolutely worthy of your time.
