Holder – “Inconsolable” & “Ruin The Best Of Me”

Holder are from Western Massachusetts, and they're part of the scene of extremely young bands who are into reviving the thundering metalcore sounds of the '00s in extremely sincere and epic ways. Holder combine that stuff with first-generation screamo, and they've got a feral immediacy that I find really powerful. They released an extremely cool self-titled EP on Ephyra in 2024, and that record has picked up a lot of fans in the last year and a half. Now, they've got two more tracks.

Holder's new songs "Inconsolable" and "Ruin The Best Of Me" are the first that they've released with singer Brie Percy, who joined up just after the EP came out. She's got a gigantic monster-roar and a ton of presence, and she really elevates the new tracks, which sound like planets crashing into each other. Check out both of them below.

TOUR DATES:
1/23 - Brattleboro, VT @ BUI Skatepark (with Balmora)
2/06 - Orlando, FL @ UMC Broadway Church (with Memento)
2/08 - Hollywood, FL @ In Good Hands Fest

The Ruin The Best Of Me two-song single is out now on DAZE.
