NFL player Keion White was shot in the ankle after an alleged altercation with Lil Baby at a San Francisco nightclub following the Super Bowl, the San Francisco Standard reports.

White, 27, a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, was hosting a private Super Bowl afterparty within the Mission Street bar and nightclub Dahlia. Lil Baby, 31, the Atlanta rapper born Dominique Jones, performed the same night in San Francisco at the Grand Nightclub, about two miles from Dahlia. The events both followed Super Bowl LX, which took place at the 49ers' home venue of Levi's Stadium in nearby Santa Clara.

In the early morning hours of Monday, Lil Baby's entourage was on the main floor of Dahlia and attempted to enter White's private event downstairs. According to an unnamed witness interviewed by police, White and Lil Baby got into an argument. The witness says he went upstairs to seek help from management, at which point he heard two gunshots. When he returned downstairs, White had been shot in the ankle of his left leg. According to police reports, White did not cooperate with requests to identify the shooter, who has not been named.
