Bleachers season is upon us again. The perennially busy Jack Antonoff has announced his fifth studio album under the moniker, everyone for ten minutes, which is out in May. A press release describes the new album as "an optimistic record that feels lovestruck and hopeful," which you can hear in today's lead single "you and forever."
The shimmery, slow-building "you and forever" arrives with a Alex Lockett-directed music video that stars Antonoff's wife Margaret Qualley. In the clip, Antonoff is having a very inconvenient time trying to get home to see her, singing along the way: "Fuck everything that I've been told, 'cause I just saw the heavens open up," he belts in the climactic final chorus.
