Loukeman – “Elktorn” & “All I Could Think Of”

Toronto-based producer Loukeman has been pretty lowkey since his last album, 2024's Sd-2. Over the past couple years he's worked with A$AP Rocky and PinkPantheress but hasn't released anything solely his own. Today that changes. He's returned with two new singles, "Elktorn" and "All I Could Think Of." They're both steely electronic music that makes my brain feel really good.

"All I Could Think Of" takes vocal bits of Canadian singer-songwriter Georgia Harmer and morphs them into cottony threads alongside a bright piano and softly humming bass. It's serene. Its sister track is zestier. "Elktorn" bursts with slithering metallic percussion and pearlescent (possibly vocal?) snippets that twinkle in circles around the skittering atmosphere. The track then settles down, maybe for dinner, maybe around a campfire. Soothing guitar chords takeover as the beat peters out.

Listen to both below.
