Dogstar Announce New Album All In Now: Hear The Title Track

Keanu Reeves looked at his bass and whisper-shouted through gritted teeth, "People keep asking if I'm back, and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah! I'm thinking I'm back!" This is me being stupid. Keanu Reeves probably did not actually do that. But on the subject of rocking out with his reunited '90s alt-rock band Dogstar, Keanu Reeves is really thinking he's back. He's all in now.

In 2023, Reeves got back together with his old Dogstar bandmates Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse, and they released Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees, their first album in 23 years. Reeves famously took time off from his initial movie-star run to tour as Dogstar's bassist in the '90s, and he did the same thing again when the band got back together. Now, the post-reunion Dogstar have announced their fourth album, which is called All In Now, as well as tours of Europe and North America.

Dogstar recorded All In Now with in-demand indie rock producer Nick Launay, and they're going to release it on their own Dillon Street label. On recording a new LP, Reeves says, "We couldn’t fucking wait. Personally, I loved it all. For me, the attitude was like, ‘let's work hard and let’s GO.'" He's talking like Ted "Theodore" Logan. I love it. The album's title track is an impressive crunch-rock jam that reminds me of Queens Of The Stone Age. Reeves is playing that real Baba Yaga bass on it. Below, check out the Carlos Garcia Medina-directed "All In Now" video, as well as the tracklist and Dogstar's upcoming tour dates.
