Loke Rahbek used to be a member of the Danish band Lust For Youth, and then he split off to start the solo project Croatian Amor. Last year, he got together with his old band for the Lust For Youth/Croatian Amor collaborative album All Worlds. Today, Rahbek follows that album with "Regret," a new standalone single that features fellow Copenhagen musicians School Of X and Niko.
"Regret," which is not a New Order cover, fits right in with so much of the extremely cool hazy and clubby pop music coming out of Copenhagen these days. The voices are so heavily treated that I can't tell who's singing what, and the whole thing floats along sexily. A body-jacking beat is on maybe half of the track, and it works equally well with it and without it. Listen below.
