I cannot deny the catchiness of the new flowerovlove single "American Wedding." It's sweet and cheeky, with lyrics like "I love you so don't die" and "Meet me in Vegas baby/ I wanna have your babies/ I wanna be First Lady." There's a flirtatious country twinge to it that reminds me a bit of Sabrina Carpenter and Kacey Musgraves. It's a smart pop song, one that laughs at its sweetness. flowerovlove might be dreaming up a big diamond ring, but it's all in her head. Still, a little bit of delusion makes life fun.
