Nottingham's No Peeling play post-punk in the fun way, not the dour way. They released their self-titled debut EP last year, and in a few weeks they'll be back with EP2. Lead single "Stationery" keeps up the band's penchant for short bursts of neon cartoon energy. It sounds like it's reflecting off a funhouse mirror — all manic rhythm, carnival keyboards, and bass that alternates between fart sounds and frantic barrage. Sophie Diver's vocals crystalize the B-52s influence, which can be clearly heard in there along with other leading lights like XTC and Desperate Bicycles. Watch the video below.
