Che – “Tell U Sum” & “Nosferatu”

In the past few years, the 19-year-old Atlanta rapper Che has emerged at the forefront of the post-Playboi Carti rage-rap wave. He does the fried, chaotic bleepy-staticy thing better than pretty much anyone else, and he finds room for tiny, achy melodies in the midst of all his noise.

In 2025, Che made it onto our list of the year's best albums with Rest In Bass, and then he dropped a deluxe edition with 14 extra tracks. Last month, Che released two more tracks and a SoundCloud-exclusive EP. Right now, Che is on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, and he just released a new two-song single called Para'dies.

"Tell U Sum" and "Nosferatu," the new tracks on Para'dies, are more focused and melodic than anything I've heard from Che before, but they still sound like fizz erupting inside your brain. Both of these songs have a longing feeling that I really like, and I'm also into the accordion loop that producer CXO deploys on "Tell U Sum." Listen below.
