German heavy metal veterans Accept are celebrating their 50th anniversary with quite the coup. For new album Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, the group re-recorded 19 of their best songs with assists from a long list of fellow legends — 50 guests to mark 50 years.
For instance, Pantera's Phil Anselmo, Metallica's Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee (King Diamond, Motörhead, Scorpions) join forces on "Fast As A Shark." Smashing Pumpkins leader Billy Corgan and Megadeth's David Ellefson pop up on "Love Child." Ghost's Tobias Forge sings on "Save Us," backed by Korn's Ray Luzier on drums, while Judas Priest's Rob Halford and Scorpions' Matthias Jabs contribute to "Balls To the Wall."
Other names highlighted in a press release include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis. Though every track features a different lineup, the "Hellhammer" remake is performed by Accept's current lineup: guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse, drummer Christopher Williams, and vocalist Jason McMaster.
