"Ne Plus Ultra" is the first new music of year from IDM-inspired duo ear. Last September, they self-released their debut album The Most Dear And The Future, which followed their first-ever release, 2024's "Nerves."
"Ne Plus Ultra" sounds like a found footage film — a collage of buzzy bass blowouts, spaceship blips, icy vocals, cut-and-paste sound bits, kitten cries, and 2000s electronica melodies.
