We know very little about the slinky and sophisticated London indie group LL Burns, the project of brothers Michael and Paraic Morrissey, but they've been around for over a decade and have been quietly putting out records since the pre-pandemic days. Lately, they've been picking up momentum online, thanks in part to the gently sweeping 2025 single "Ten Long Years." Today, LL Burns drop their first new single of this year.
The new LL Burns track "Got It All" has a jazzy, cinematic flair to it. Paraic Morrissey's vocals are tender and delicate, and the group surrounds that voice with pillowy Fender Rhodes and glowing keyboards. The United Kingdom loves a feathery, fragile, precise white soul singer, and I think this group has a bright future ahead. There’s no word about an album yet, but LL Burns promise “more coming soon.” Listen below.
