Berlin duo Theo Zeitner and Victoria Vassiliki Daldas, who release pounding music as Brutalismus 3000, are releasing their new album Harmony at the end of the month. Today, they've shared "Gore Louvre," the follow-up to lead single “I Bring My Gun To The Function," a collaboration with Boys Noize.
"Gore Louvre" is gorgeous pandemonium. "Call the cabman yeah/ We go to gore louvre/ Inside take a look at the truth," Daldas shouts. The bass tromps like a gun backfiring. It makes me want to find a dark cave and go feral.
It comes with a Mau Morgó-directed video that's shot through a night vision goggle lens. There's a group of people that break into a mansion and look at things and then stare creepily into the camera. It's unclear if they're there to steal things or are just simply on drugs. Maybe they're possessed? There's something haunted and surreal about the visual; there's hugging and fighting and dancing and gun-toting.
Watch the video below.
Harmony is out 6/26 on Live From Earth/Columbia.
