When not posting fanfic and AI slop to Patreon, living legend Bob Dylan continues to tour hard well into his eighties. He's finding ways to keep show-goers on their toes, too. The newly 85-year-old Dylan broke out some rarities during his spring tour, and he kept that same energy as the latest leg of his Rough And Rowdy Ways Tour kicked off Thursday.
Deep into his show at McMenamins Historic Edgefield Manor in Troutdale, Oregon, Dylan — wearing his now-customary raincoat with the hood up (the photo above is from 2019) — gave his first ever live performance of "Baby, Will You Be My Baby." The song is an extremely deep cut from Dylan's Basement Tapes era, recorded with the Band at Big Pink in 1967 and not officially released until 2014's The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete.
There is audio of the performance because of course there is. Listen below along with the studio version.
