Clutter Announce Debut Album Sugar Rush: Hear “Grease Baby”

This year the fun, high-energy Stockholm rock band Clutter have doled out the singles "C.L.U.T.T.E.R." and "GirlVsHeart." Those will both appear on Sugar Rush, Clutter's debut album. The band announced their LP today and shared a video for "Grease Baby," its third single. It's a tightly wound, hard-hitting post-punk track with an irresistible momentum. No wheels are reinvented here, but baby, they're rolling fast.

The band shared this statement:

Grease Baby paints a picture of a vacation. Of a never-ending summer and longing for something more, not quite knowing what. It's a warm and kraut like rock song with elements of pop. It's a happy sad song about yearning with a beautiful summer as a back-drop. Grease meets the sea.

Whereas prior Clutter visuals obscured the band in lo-fi haze, the "Grease Baby" video gives us a nice clear look at these kids. It's directed by Måns Nyman, who previously did Zara Larsson's "Lush Life" video. I imagine he doesn't come cheap. Watch below.
