Slothrust Announce New Album What They Grow In The Garden: Hear “Ring The Bell” & “00101001”

11:58 AM EDT on July 24, 2026

Boston alt-rockers Slothrust are based in LA these days, and they're ready to announce their follow-up to the 2021 album Parallel Timeline. The band released a new single called "Burn The Deck" earlier this year, and that'll appear on What They Grow In The Garden, a new LP that'll come out later this summer. The record will also include “Ring The Bell" and "00101001," the two new songs that Slothrust released today.

Slothrust members Leah Wellbaum and Will Gorin co-produced What They Grow In The Garden with the Ready Set's Jordan Witzigreuter. It's their first album as a duo. When sexual assault allegations against bassist Kyle Bann came out in 2021, they posted an Instagram statement saying that he "is no longer a part of Slothrust and he has not been for a long time."

The new songs are big and gothy and extremely produced. I definitely don't remember Slothrust sounding this much like Evanescence. Below, check out both singles and the tracklist for What They Grow In The Garden.

TRACKLIST:
01 "Dissolve The Delusion"
02 "Burn The Deck"
03 "Smile"
04 "Ring The Bell"
05 "Twisted Paradise"
06 "Hearst Castle"
07 "00101001"
08 "What A Night"
09 "Absolute Power"
10 "Keep Us Thirsty"
11 "The Lake"
12 "Dystopian Cemetery"

What They Grow In The Garden is out 9/18 on Equal Vision. Pre-order it here.
