In 2023, the singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør, allegedly Norway's best-kept secret, shared an album with the very funny title Blómi. In the time since its release, Sundfør has given birth to two babies and moved out to the Norwegian countryside. Today, Sundfør announces Revelations Of Divine Love, a new album that she and the British musician Kit Downes recorded using nothing but an old chuch's pipe organ.
Sundfør and Downes wrote the songs on Revelations Of Divine Love together, and the lyrics are drawn from the writings of the 14th century mystic Julian of Norwich. They recorded the album live at a Norwegian church, using nothing but organ and voice, and lead single "I It Am" has a feeling of sacred stillness.
