The young Filipino-Australian hyperpop artist daine has collaborated with people like Ninajirachi and underscores, and now they're getting ready to release their own full-length In Endless Awe & Agony. We've already posted their tracks "PQC" and "Love Love (Love Love)," and now they've got a new one called "I Used To Kill."
"I Used To Kill" is a team up with daine's Pack. Records labelmate and fellow hyperpopper Alden Robinson, known professionally as aldn. aldn comes from Reston, Virginia, and his discography includes past collabs with people like glaive and Wisp. "I Used To Kill" is a smeary, digitally distorted track with tons of vocal effects and programmed drums. Underneath all of that, though, it's basically an emo song, right down to the twinkly guitar figure. Check out the video below.
