You shouldn't. You should be grateful to get more Just Penelope music today. The Bloomington shoegaze quartet announced their Great Lake EP with the impressive "After," and new single "Sister" keeps the poppy, dreamy, gauzy goodness flowing. This band is exceptionally adept at wringing drama and dynamics out of the well-worn shoegaze playbook.
Describing "Sister" as a mix of many aspects of the EP, Just Penelope call the song "a story of the ingenuous feeling of love and the swiftness to push things aside after being wronged." Listen below.
