David Sylvian has announced his new album The Distance Between The Killer And The Killing, coming next year. It's billed as the followup to 2009's Manafon, though since then the Japan singer has released the ambient excursion There's A Light That Enters Houses With No Other House In Sight and various compilations.
The Distance Between The Killer And The Killing is comprised of one 46-minute instrumental made of recomposed improvisational sessions recorded between 2012 and 2025 with artists like Otomo Yoshihide, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bilianna Voutchkova, Miako Klein, Jamie Drouin, Lance Austin Olson, and more.
