It's not the first time Allen Blickle's remixed Surfer Blood -- we posted his "Swim" remix a few months back. This remix appears on Surfer Blood's "Floating Vibes" single, out August 24. It's still a little surprising that a member of Baroness would remix this band, but it's not as surprising as how jangly and pop this remix is. There's a single bass synth note that's threatening and rumbly, but the rest is tambourine and swirling keyboards -- the sugary lead hook Blickle comes up with should end up on any future live performances of "Twin Peaks."
