Gorillaz did "Rhinestone Eyes" on Letterman Friday night. It worth watching from the introduction, where the band's hurried soundchecking interrupts Letterman several times. If you were in the audience at the Ed Sullivan Theater, you also got a 45 minute set of new and old Gorillaz songs, which you can also watch below.

The band played the gig that Damon Albarn said he'd been looking forward to his entire life on Saturday, when they took the stage at Madison Square Garden. Among the many guests at MSG was Lou Reed, who did "Some Kind Of Nature" with the band. The performance is shaky, and you can see Reed asking for sound adjustments through the song. Those are chants of "Lou!" and not boos you hear at the beginning and end (same problem Bruce Springsteen and Lou Ferrigno had):
