Last month we posted the title track from indefatigable Jackson Heights crew the Beets' recent two-song "Time Brought Age" 7" and said to expect a sophomore collection Stay Home come 2011. It's where you'll find "Watching TV," another swatch of warped, imploding '60s referencing pop (as always, think Uncle Wiggly, Chemical Imbalance compilation, Queens-based punks). The song's appropriately wordy, television-focused video was shot in bassist Jose Garcia's Jackson Heights basement and directed by Matt Volz. The Beets will turn your problems into hit songs:
