In this classic looking and sounding Adam Elias-directed footage -- according to notes provided over at YouTube, Elias shot it with a pair of vintage television cameras purchased via eBay for $50 a piece -- the Bushwick-based Dap-Kings are back at home behind Sharon Jones after their stint with Wino for her Back To Black and its subsequent tour, then with Mark Ronson at the ultra-awkward VMAs. Making the most of the reunion, Jones sweats the '60s soulful title track from her newest record, wrapping her voice around each syllable, like she's memorized its entire contour and back story. Love the quivery opening titles, too.
