R.E.M.'s greatest-hits collection Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage 1982- 2011 arrives next month, and it features the new single "We All Go Back To Where We Belong," which the band recorded just before breaking up. The band has now posted two videos (or, in their parlance, "short films") for the song.

Both videos are close-up black-and-white unbroken shots of their subjects, who sit there making facial expression that convey some sort of feeling or other. One has movie star Kirsten Dunst, and the other features veteran artist and poet John Giorno. Dunst swings back and forth between smiling and looking sad, and Giorno mostly keeps the same frozen, vacant stare throughout. Michael Stipe and Dominic DeJoseph direct. Watch them below.
