We had a peek at the Shins' Nintendo 3DS-premiered, 3-D video for Port Of Morrow single "The Rifle's Spiral," and now James Mercer and Nintendo Corp have allowed the internet to enjoy the creepy, Coraline-y animated thing in full (albeit in 2-D). Director Jamie Caliri tells Nowness that the illustration work of Edward Gorey and Martin Scorsese's Hugo were inspiration points. Threads are pulled out of eyeballs and shit, it's that sorta thing.
