Brooklyn synthpoppers Chairlift recently did a version of their dizzily lovestruck single "Met Before" in an empty auditorium, with a bunch of friends helping out on vocals. It's almost a capella, though; the only accompaniment is Patrick Wimberly's ringing guitar. The video is a prettily blurry thing, and this version of the song shows that it can translate beautifully to new circumstances. Watch it below.

Chairlift's album Something is out now on Columbia. And if you haven't yet done the choose-your-own-adventure video for "Met Before," it's a must.
