In that writeup, I mentioned speaking with vocalist Nick Berbeln about the collection's Liars-esque lead track Blood" and the album's seeming preoccupation with the apocalypse. This psychedelic climb up (and back down) a hill with the Grim Reaper and the accompanying bloody sacrifice/occupational shift does some talking, too. "Death Valley '10"?
