Joel Ford, the half of Ford & Lopatin who isn't Oneohtrix Point Never, is now recording his own whacked-out synthscapes under the name Airbird. His Romance Layers EP is imminent, and we've already heard the (entirely legal) Mariah Carey-sampling track "Free Mind." Now here's another one called "Long Lake," a handclappy oblique-dance thing that samples Steve Roach's "The Continent."
