Kingfisher Bluez, a Vancouver indie label, is launching a new subscription singles series, sending out a limited number of one-sided 7" singles. Artists like Rose Melberg and Apollo Ghosts have signed on to participate, and the first entry in the series comes from grimy rockabilly experimenter Dirty Beaches, who turns in the uncharacteristically placid instrumental "Elizabeth's Theme."
