Barcelona's dusky Balearic beat-maker John Talabot, owner of this year's excellent ƒin LP, is now also the owner of a coveted opening slot on old pals the xx's upcoming tour. As a get-to-know-me tour memento, JT's pressed a 7" with two previously unreleased tracks, available physically either at his shows with the xx, or his own tour later in Europe, or as streaming YouTube embeds right here and now. They're a stately pair, with the right amount of reverb, sped-up vocal samples, and post-house pulse to soundtrack blissed-out sunrises or sunsets, depending on your lifestyle. Hear:
