Earlier this year, the Baltimore band Lower Dens released their very good, krautrock-skewing sophomore album Nootropics, and my daughter still can't fall asleep without listening to it. On the new three-song EP Nootropics Remixed, the Danish dance producer Trentemøller reworks first single "Brains," keeping the central pulse and the Jana Hunter vocal intact but carefully coloring around the edges with splasy synth sounds.
