In his video for "Wasted," a clangorous lurch from the noisy Toronto post-hardcore band METZ, director Scott Cudmore turns a setting as mundane as a photo-portrait studio into something absolutely fucked and wrong, using digital distortion and rictus smiles and absolutely deranged-looking people to create total nightmare fuel. The song was already pretty fucking heavy to begin with, but now it seems just that much heavier.
