"Finally" is a gospel-inflected house anthem from the New York producer Kings Of Tomorrow; it was a minor hit in the UK in 2000. The xx, who continue to have excellent taste in covers, tried the song out on a live BBC Radio session yesterday, effectively translating the original's steamroller of feeling into something tense and small and intimate while keeping some of its dancefloor pulse intact.
