Yesterday, Kylesa topped our list of the month's best new metal, and today, they close out April with the release of a new track from the forthcoming Ultraviolet, "We're Taking This." Philip Cope is doing primary vocal duty here, and the tribal sound hews closer to the band's sludge roots than their recent forays into shoegaze and alt-rock. It's a nice complement to "Vulture's Landing," in that respect, although both tracks frankly sound even better in the context of the LP, which is a corker. Listen
